Do you need a new serpentine belt with the MTI pulley? Has anyone had any experiences positive or negative they might care to share? I live in Las Vegas and temps will reach 120 should I be concerned with any type of issues regarding underdriving the accessories.

I had UD pullys on all 3 of my former SHO's. Some of the -'s are if you run a high power stero the altternator will be hard pushed, especially at night with headlamps on too. With some manufacturers there could be a problem with the AC output. Now on the flip side is this, the slower speed your accessories are running at, the longer they will live. The parasitic loss is also reduced. The engine will rev much quicker.
With different manfacturers making them, they could all be just slightly different. OR they could be made by one manufacturer. It's best to see what brand most of the same type of car you have are running or what a specialist tuner is using.

Couple of things I forgot to mention, the pully's normally come with a belt OR the size belt you will need to get (they may give you a length or Gates part #). The crank pully was a REAL freakin PITA to get off. I had to go to Sears to get a high torque air wrench, and then she came off like butter! (I tried breaker bars etc, but did NOT do the ole mechanics trick, breaker bar against the concrete floor and then try to bump the starter to break the bolt loose, too scared for that one)

MTI UDPulley gave me 6 RWHP with no adverse affects of any kind.
It comes with a new bolt and belt.
Highly recomended by this old gear head.
2.5-3 hour install.
Try it you will like it.
Check my dyno sheets, I don't make no money off this stuff.
I just give you real #s.

Thank you, just what I needed. I will have them install the underdrive pulley and headers at the same time. Any experience with 30lb injectors?

I think Jim and Team Zr1 have both recommended the upgrade 30# injectors due to the fact that the stock injectors are at the upper end ot their duty cycle, of course adding a MAFT and using a scanner and laptop to get the correct AFR will make a pretty big difference just using the stock injectors, especially with an upgraded intake like your T1. I plan on doing the scan, MAFT, make the proper adjustments to the AFR in the mean time. I will eventually do the injector upgrade though in the future.

Tom, who did you get the MTI UDP's from?
Did you do the install yourself?
