It has been over 2 months since I called in my $50 bucks for the NCM Z06VETTE.COM brick fund. I know as of a couple of weeks ago we had been standing still at 5 or 6 hundred bucks. Why don't we give it until the end of the month as a cut off and order the darn brick regardless of the size. I personally would like to thank my fellow members who made contribtions regardles of the amount. Can we get an update with a list of all who have contributed? FUBU69/LES

It's real disappointing. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif We have over 700 members. Even $5 each would put us over the top and it is not for the forum, but to support the NCM. I don't understand it. We drive $50K Vettes and a $5 donation is pocket change. Come on guys, let's help out the Museum, and when we have our Z06 get together, they will lay the brick. Z06's are going to be around for awhile...not just a 1 or 2 year run. This gathering will be BIG!! The forum is growing in leaps and bounds!! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

My $.02 on publishing a list of benefactors - Our office published a list of gift givers once, and it eventually turned into an "us vs. them" attack. Started by just a few employees, it eventually got out of hand. It took quite a while to subside.

Called Stephanie at the NCM this morning for an update on our brick fund. She has just returned to the office and will check the amount in our fund, then email me....I'll then post it here.

I must apologize to everyone regarding the brick fund update. Stephanie sent me an update on our total commitment to the Z06vette.com brick fund a number of days ago, and I did not see her email message to me, so therefore I did not post it then.....The amount was $585. We still have a way to go, so let's see what we can do to kick it up!
Remember our NCM is a non profit foundation and exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Museum are tax deductible as allowed by law.
