I have nearly completed the installation of a Raptor shift light in my '04 Z06. I want to connect to the Tach wire under the fuse block rather than at the PCM. However, after freeing the fuse block from it's clips, I find it a very hard pull to get it to where I can access the wires on the underside. I gave it up last night for fear that if I pulled too hard on the fuse block I might disconnect some of the wiring underneath.

Since I've seen previous threads on this topic that show pictures of the underside of the fuse block, can I assume I'm not pullling it up with enough force? Should I be able to expose the underside enough to perform the splice? Any help appreciated. :-?

When I installed mine, I had the same problem. I was able to wiggle enough room to be able to install the splice, but never understood how some people appeared to be able to practically turn it upside down.
