Anybody else hear about the new Corsa Cross-cover pipe for the C5s.

I ordered mine the other night. I talked to Jim Browning (owner), he said they are also curently working on Headers for the Z06.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Jim Browning at the Rolex race this weekend. He was telling me about the new headers and a complete titanium system for the Z06. I didn't ask the price or availibility dates. I didn't want to bring in too much business into our pleasureable weekend. I am under the impression it will be available in the second quarter. He is certainly a very personable gentleman. Maybe because he is a fellow Buckeye. Anyway, It will be interesting to see the HP gain for the money.

Never had an X pipe replacement, but have had B&B and Corsa on previous C5's and liked the sound of each system. I'm wondering if adding an after market X pipe increases or decreases the sound level? Thanks!

Yes, the Corsa price is higher. No welding, all stainless steel consrtuction.

SOme folks find it difficult to find a competent shop to weld, though with thorough searching, it can be done. Either pipe will do the same thing.

The Corsa x pipe is very nice indeed. A perfect addition for anyone looking to remedy some of the popping and crackling with the Corsas. Gives the B&Bs a more mello sound.Any of the x-pipes will quiet the sound a bit. Maybe 10 percent or so. So far, everyone that has purchased any of the x pipes from me, have loved what they have done for the sound.The main difference in Corsas x pipe is that it is SS and bolts on to the exhaust on one end, with the other end needing to be welded on. Most other x pipes are mild stell and need to be welded in at both ends. Oh, the price is significantly higher for the Corsa x pipe too!
