Hey everyone,

I just returned from Chicago last night where my wife and I purchased an Arctic White '00 FRC. You may have seen it listed for sale in the Corvetteforum C5 for sale section recently (I'll list the mods below). I have been looking for a white FRC for some time (about 1.5 years) and this one had a lot of the mods I was looking for, if not more.

In short, it's quite a beast. Here are the details:

2000 White FRC
31k miles
Black leather
6 speed
Dual Climate, Active handling, no HUD, no bose.

ENGINE
RGR Stage 2 ported LS1 heads with dual springs and titanium retainers
Comp Cam 232/232 .595 112.5
Comp 7.400 Chrome moly pushrods
ASP Under drive crank pulley
All new Gm bolts, gaskets, head gaskets and Ls6 oil pump when installed.
Rollermaster single roller non adjustable timing set
Ls6 pcv setup and valley cover
Ls6 intake
New NGK plugs and Taylor wires
LG motorsports Long tube headers with no cats
Stock GM Ti catback exhaust
LPE HD Output shaft
3.90 Motive gears, and bearing kit
McLeod Twin disk clutch with Alm. Flywheel
Updated GM slave cylinder
McLeod Adjustable master cylinder
Blackwing intake system
New belts for AC, and Serpentine.
30# injectors

LOOKS
Lowered on factory bolts
5000k HID headlights in stock housings
OEM z06 wheels powder coated black with Kumho Mx tires
z06 red brake calipers
z06 front screens
z06 brake ducts, duct work is ran and they work
Flush taillight kit
Tinted windows all around
Clear front plate cover, and oem front plate cover

Interior
Black leather
Alpine 1.5 din cd player
Alpine MRD - m301 mono sub amp
JL audio stealth box
Hurst Shifter
All brand new 4 tire pressure sensors

Car made 421/398 on the dyno. I get 17/28 mpg with this setup also. All work and tuning was done by Speed Inc here in IL. Car still has stock air intake expect for a blackwing, and Ti exhaust. Never had a slick on it, or a drag radial. Awesome power for being very quiet.

We drove it about 500 miles this weekend and it never hiccuped - even when I had to put 89 octane in it in Iowa b/c that's all they had. I hope it continues to suit us well. I welcome your comments and look forward to being part of the forum!
