We've added a new feature to Z06vette forums. The ability to maintain login. However this does not come without a price, the caveat is that if you use the feature from a public computer, anyone will have access to your profile, so don't use this feature on a hotel computer or a loaner laptop or something...

To activate the login, simply login normally at the top of the index page (or the login link) and check the remember me box. You are now logged in for one month. If this is too short of a time, we'll bump it to 2 months or so....

Let a moderator know of any problems with the feature....

Doesn't seem like a good idea to me. With the auto login, anybody using my computer can post stuff with my name. How hard is it to type in a name and password?

Just don't check the "Remember Me" box. This is just an option.

I have noticed that this has been active on my computer for a while, after my first reply I wouldn't hav to type in my password, it already knew my sign-in name. To me, It seems like a good idea, but I would like to see a sign-off feature for it.
If not, I guess we all can live with this.
Keep up the good work, all of your effort and hard work makes this the most entertaining and information filled forum.

You may logout at any time to remove this, and ITS NOT automatically invoked. To use it
you must check the box. It's just an option for people who are tired of having to remember to log in....
