New Piston Rings to be Installed

My Dealer called today and asked if I would be willing to have my car be one of the first to receive the new piston rings designed to fix the excessive oil consumption issue. I said fine. He expects surgery to occur in about 10 days as soon as all parts arrive.

I will keep you posted!

I am just glad that the fix will be in before the DRM top-end package--it will probably save me from having to answer many questions.

DRM has the heads done and is trying to decide on the best cam and waiting to get "roller rockers" whatever those are. So it appears that timing will be just right.
I cannot wait to square-off with some Snakes to see how the car stacks up!

I am still debating whether the B & B Shorties are a worthwile addition with the cam and heads.

Mako:

Check with Rippied ZO6. He has the DRM long tubes, and likes them. They would be a good compliment to the other mods you are planning, unless you live in a precat required state. DRM has done other mods on his car.
