:thumb: when's your next event?

Can't wait for mine on 4/2 at Homestead. Just installed T1 shocks and springs, VBP poly control arm bushings, ARP wheel studs, Hardbar camber kit, CCW's w/ scrubs, and will have my Kirkey seat and Momo steering wheel in by then. :D
Brian,
Looking forward to seeing you at VIR on March 26-27.
Yep I did buy a BK harness bar too... it's sitting in my bedroom right now. Installed the hitch tonight.
^ Ordered on Monday... may be sitting on my doorstep now, but I'm at work.
I can't wait for Mar 26th!!!

I have the B/K harness bar, simpson belts, carbotech pads, CCW's and new shocks. Would like to install an oil cooler next:thumb:
I also did some mods.
Penske's, Ti Corsa exhaust, Toyo RA1's

Will be curious to see time difference from basically stock.
Last time out at Full VIR I was running 2:15-2:17's so I am hoping for 2:13's or so

Good luck. Those look like very respectible times for a stock car. Tires will make a huge difference for you.

I believe a top tier SCCA National driver in a T1 car in qualifying trim can turn in the 2:06s!!! I'm never all that fast my first trip to a track though... slow learner I guess.

me neither! my first DE at VIR I ran in intermediate, my instructor was questioning that choice the first day, then by the end of the day he had to move me into advanced :p

Very nice Leslie. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to getting together with everyone at VIR for this DE. Going to be a great weekend.

I hate those things; this year I'm going with Sub's CarboTech's.

Draw-tite hitch
How was the install? Do you like it?

Which one did you go with? I'm still undecided although I'm leaning towards the Harbor Freight 3.5' x 4' one with 12" wheels.
Fuck Hawk Blues... I have Wilwood H's now.

Draw tite went on easily but haven't tackled the wiring.

I bought a buddies spruced up Harbor Freight trailer, but haven't gotten it yet, will be borrowing another buddies for Mazdadrivers.
I always think until you get a rollcage and basically can afford if you total it or not you always drive about 1 second or more to slow.
Of course have neither task accomplished yet in this car bit in my '90 vette I would drive like there was no tommorrow.

Dying to get these Penske's on and car lowered this week. Also Corsa TI CB going on as well as new Kirban shifter.
Will see how it goes at Road Atlanta.

I will have good comparison at VIR South Course with all mods when I run there in April with THSCC.
Ran 1:22 in 1 timed run before brake line broke. Ran a ton of 1:20-1:21's earlier on my lap timer.
I am hoping for 1:18-1:19's with the Toyo RA1's shaved, Penske SA's, and Corsa.
:drunken:
^What happened when the line broke? Was it on course? How'd you stop?
It was (lucky stars) on the little short shoot section so I came into a braking zone only doing maybe 80mph (not the 145mph I was hitting on straight). It also had the ability to drive straight on pavement as that is where south course and Patriot course overlap.
So I just overshoot braking zone about 100 feet.

I think the severe off camber turns and poorly run line rubbed to nothing as the line wore through and that's what caused the failure.

Very very sobering.
