***UPDATE***
Pulled motor, see pics below, blown piston and cracked cylinder bore.
NEW MOTOR on the way, 415 Iron Forged......
New pics and post coming soon!






I had a little explosion about a week ago. I found out that the solenoids on the n20 and gas stuck on, relay got fried.

Anyway here is the damge......

Open to ideas on rebuilding it too.......
Not sure which direction to go

Good luck with the fix..A suggestion STOP USING N20! I have seen too many things to wrong.

I hear you! I agree. BUT I have to say that it was due to my ignorance and laziness, not having any of the safety devices.
Trust me.. I knew better!

Ill tell you this, its not easy letting go of that 500 rwhp kick in the ass feeling, but I am working on it.:jammin: :bang:

Meh, come on, now like hundreds of vette motors havent let go under boost.

Its just a little more exciting when the nawz goes wrong. :D

WOW I cant ever remember seeing that much damage from moderate use (clearing throat). Too bad. Yeah... I'd have to agree with bibsuit. The 427 idea isnt bad since its already apart.

427 or built 402. I would compare prices and measure that against your budget.

The 402 is hard to beat for the money... you can get a 402 and good heads for the cost of a 427 short block.

I am shopping for SOMETHING........
Its driving me nuts!
Have my motor pulled out, and am ready to pull the trigger and get something OVERNIGHTED to me!:sneaky:

No really, I cant seem to find a deal... I dont want to have to mess with the cpu, so I think an ls2 is out,
but I am open minded.....

Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy the pics of the internals and major maintenance undertakings.

Sorry about your car but like others have said, it's part of the risk we take to go fast.

What plugs were you using? Please dont say you were using NGK TR5's or 6's.

I did a 100 on my TNT F1 wet kit and i made 546RWHP safetly. IM not selling my kit in the for sale section.

Ouch, I personaly am not a fan of nitrous, If your going to rebuild alot of people on this site have good words abou the 402 :thumb:
