No MSO!?!?

Ok, so my build date was May 7.. I was out of town this week, so my wife called the dealer yesterday - "it's on a truck, should be in tomorrow or early next week"..

So, since the weekdays are time-limited, I gave the dealership a call back today.. I asked if I could come in and pay for everything and finalize the whole deal, so next week I could just pick up the keys and go..

"Sorry, we can't do that, because we don't have the MSO (I THINK that's what the acronym was). It's like the birth certificate for your car. We need to get the data on that into our system before we can sell it. It should be here Monday or Tuesday".

"As long as it beats the car in!", I say...

"Well, I really didn't want to tell you this, but your car is downstairs getting ready to be prepped right now.. Showed up on the truck last night"

Luckily, I guess, the weather forecasts for the area this weekend are rain and thunderstorms, so I'm not THAT psycho right now..

I did drive down to the dealership unannounced this afternoon, and when they found out who I was, a bunch of guys 'snapped to', and ushered me 'downstairs'.. The sticky stuff was still on the car from where they took off the paper and crap.. Dirty.. But OH MY GOD..

I'm SOOOO HAPPY right now..

Anxiously awaiting Monday..

Don't let that dealer prep it for you, you prep it(exterior wash, etc.) and use some Zaino!
