I have installed this kit about 10 times on f-bodys but never on a Z06. Last night I had my old kit from my f-body laying around and I decided what the hell we will give it a go. Install is going good untill I go to put bulk of the system on the car (rails, injectors, ect..) The rail length is a little longer than the stock rails and it bumps into a bracket on the intake manifold on the drivers side of the car toward the rear of the motor. What is this bracket for? Anyone else ran across this problem with aftermarket rails or this nitrous kit?

You have to either remove that bracket, but it is hard to get to the bolt on the backside of the head or cut it off. I cut mine off. The bracket is there is case of a collision to protect the fuel rail from hitting the firewall.

Lol! The idea of cutting it would work but I am going to try and bend it first. Thanks guys for letting me know what it was for. I will post dyno results next week.
