If you sit in traffic or stop for any period of time your coolant will go to 225, that is when the fans are turning on, and if your coolant goes to 225 you oil temp will not be too far behind. I have a 178 degree stat with the Powerloader (that turns the fans on at a lower temp) and on a 90 plus degree day my car sitting in traffic for an hour will not go above 205 degrees and my oil temp will run about 200-215. You can also get a Vinci fan controller that will turn the fans on when you want, it's adjustable.
