Oil Consumption Question

How much do you consume? Is it during normal daily driving or mainly present during prolonged higher rev (over 3500 RPM)?

Personally if it is no more than a qt every 1200 to 1500 miles, I would not worry about it. Most high performance motors will consume some oil. Just be diligent, as you should with any car anyway, and check your oil at least once a week before firing up your car. The system will also tell you when you are down a 1/2 qt.

Was the fix a recall or a warranty only fix? Will i have problems getting it honored with the supercharger?

so, when the Low Oil Level Comes on, it means 1/2 qt down? Is it normal then....its not excessive and only happens after alot of over 3k revs?? Is that right

When the Low Oil Level Comes on it represents more like 1 quart low. :cheers:

Another member brought this thread to my attention. Didnt have consumption problems. Idiots that chagned my oil didnt put enough in. lol. Needless to say, I do it myself now.
