I am interested in any information from people who have competed in open road racing.

I might be participating in the Big Bend Two Step in April out in West Texas. I will be installing a harness bar, belts, and fire extinguisher and purchasing a helmet and race suit for the event.

If you have any experience with these types of events I would appreciate any advice you can give.
