1fastdog, thanks for the update!

Very cool, I did get my vin number today but I am a little confused by the large difference in my vin number and Z06ROD's.

I see Z06ROD's car has vin 1G1YY12S825120000 and it rolled off the line the same day mine did and my number is quite far apart from his 1G1YY12S925110888.

If I read things correctly mine is car number 10,888 and his is 20,000 which would lead me to believe that they either built almost 10,000 cars in a week or my car was built much earlier and never finished for some reason.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to explain this?

I think you might find there's a bit of a difference between what you post as the VIN and your actual VIN.

I don't release or reveal VIN numbers, check with your dealer and it will make sense to you. What a difference one little number makes.

Well the dealer had communicated the the number to my wife and it appears she did transpose a number. It should have been 1G1YY12S925119888 so they are very close.

bingo... I think the plant is running at a little under 160 'vettes a day for target. I'm happy for you!
