- must run the 1/4 mile in under 14s, and 0-60 in under 6s.
- must be reliable and comfortable as a daily driver.
- reasonable maintanence costs.
- good looking.

The corvette fit all of these without breaking the bank.

In the sports car market, I never considered any other car. However, I always have a second car which could be anything. Currently it's a 2000 Monte Carlo SS which is a lot of fun and ver comfortable. My next will be a full size Dodge Ram pickup.

I always wanted a Lotus Esprite till I drove one. They aren't made for a big person. Sherylann, however still talks about wanting one.

Before I purchased my first C5, I was really getting burned out on Corvettes. I came REALLY close to buying an Explorer SUV.
