OK, lots of info.
I'll state facts as I can think of them
Sonny is the man. What A GREAT GUY. Met fellow list member handle "Mike Mercury"
Plant production this week is scheduled for 135 units.
I saw the 1st carrier with 2002's leave the plant today at appox 9:30 am. I have pictures and will post Thurs night of Friday. None of the 2002 models have window stickers with the cars. Only a sticker that says "Property of General Motors" There was about 900 2002 in the lot according to Sonny. I saw at least 20 Carriers entering the storage lot. Anyone who had a car in the lot today can never claim it was never in the rain. It poured this morning.
Got to sign my car & even had some line workers sign it.
Line workers that I spoke with really like their jobs at the plant and really take pride in their work.
Was lucky enough to get from the plant, the very last copy of the July 3rd issue of Autoweek with the Z06 on the cover, and best of yet it was free.
I tried slipping a welder a 100 spot to pull my car and install a roll cage.
Joked with some of the line workers. When they found out it was my car, they joked about putting parts on upside down or backwards.
Tried to get them to throw in extra sets of calipers and rotors. Tommorrow I try to get them to throw in an extra set of wheels.
Hope to get my build sheet and some photos tommorrow morning.
Lots of Mil Yel cars on the line today. NO Electron Blue Z06's and only 1 Electron blue Coupe.
Saw fellow list members car sequence # 1038. I gave it a pack on the fender for you.
If anyone has any questions to ask at the plant post them here or send me an email no later thatn 10pm central time tonight.
