Sweeeeet!:coo: I plan on yanking the tires this weekend while the Z is hibernating for the winter and having them polished, too.

I like the look of polished aluminum much more than chrome. The polished wheel is higher maintenance especially if it's uncoated (which I prefer). You never have to worry about flaking or peeling like chrome.

Are you guys polishing the 02,03 and 04 wheels? I read somewhere here that
the newer wheels didn't really polish up as nice as the 01's. :-? These pics sure look nice.

Turned out to be just another rumor with about 1% truth in it. The forged rim may be a little less porous and a little easier to polish (take a little less time) The man that was going to polish mine told me that the 02's and up polish up just as good.

Anyone know where to locate Mike the Wheelwright in Fort Lauderdale. He has moved or something :z:

Centers

Are the center caps the OEM chromed from an 04? Are these your OEM wheels or did you buy an aftermarket polished set? Where did you get them?

Question for those of you with polished OEM wheels. Are there any disadvantages, aside from needing more maintenance and cleaning, to polishing the aluminum? How much more prone to pitting are the wheels?

Thanks

I wheels are from house of wheels. They are not factory wheels.
