I picked up my Z06 there last November. That was the first time there. I liked the Museum and seeing some of the History. I really also liked seeing how the car was made at the assembly plant. I am glad to see that the plant works a great deal with the Museum. Just like my Z06, a well oiled machine.
I've been to the museum 4 times. I like that it has had different cars on display each time I've been there. Can't wait to go back, but don't see time in the near future.
Hi there,
Been there twice, and will be there again at the Labor day event, hope to see you all there.
And I always learn alot everytime I am there.
Best to all, c4c5
Although I live in Cleveland, the company I work for is located in BG. I get their about once a month and on most visits I try to hit the museum or the Corvette assembly plant. I consider myself very fortunate!!
Plan on making my first trip in early August (TPW now is 7/23)also. As we get closer to these summer dates, maybe some of us could synch up. Would love to meet new Z06 owners! It is soooo great to have crossed over to the "dark-side".
My wife and I have been there once each year for the last 5 years. We may make the trip from Minneapolis twice this year. Be sure to arrange a visit during one of the many events there each year. It is really cool with all the activity around you.
First time I went to the museum it was in a strip mall a few miles away from where it is located today. Had 2 cars in small store size location. Had to walk around the cars to see pictures on the wall of racing Corvettes. Very little else but I knew I wanted to come back when the 'real' museum was ready.
Picked up my 99 and my AE at the museum. Plus have attended other events as well. Well worth the trip.
