58, 7,500 miles or less a year, full coverage with $100/$250 deductibles for Comprehensive/Collision. $409 every 6 months.

Well, I'll never figure it out but I pay 489 every 6 months for the Z whereas my toyota celica was about 100 more expensive every 6 months. Strange.

I was paying $888 for 6 months. I just had a big ticket drop off my license and my insurance dropped to $527 for 6 months. I still have one on there. Can't imagine how much it will go down when this one drops off in 9 months.

I'm in the same boat. I'm 37 and pay $310/6 months. My WRX cost me $10/6 months more?

You cannot compare rates unless you are comparing them to someone in your own zip code with exactly the same family members driving and such and so on.

The biggest insurance rate rip off is Mercury in my experience. I dumped them after comparing rates with Farmers and I saved over 1500/year exact coverages on 9 vehicles when I switched.

Well we are getting ready to move to St Louis in 2 weeks and just arrange house and car insurance. The house insurance is basically the same amount per value, even adding earthquake insurance (in the mid-west :screwy:). Dropping my deductible to $500.00 (versus $1000.00 currently) and the car insurance bill for the four vehicles is still dropping 50% :jawdrop:

I guess it is true that people on the east coast do not know how to drive.....
