As much as I would like to see Michael or Unser do well, I think they are behind the 8 ball when it comes to being competitive. Stewart has a shot IF the race gets finished on time. Ganassi's rookies might not have a bad shot IF they can keep it off the wall.

I see your from California...my step-daughter lives in Orange, California and we fly out to see her and the family every year. Matter of fact, I have tied in trips to see her and the Long Beach GP, and the Fontana CART race in past years! We may very well come out this year for the CART race at California Speedway! Great facility for a spectator, and as always, Penske built a first class track!!! Have you ever been there?
I am thinking about driving my '01 Z06 to visit her and sell the car in California this August....unsure right now though.

Great call on Castro Neves! I sure blew it with Sarah. In two years she has two 31st place finishes.

I haven't been to SoCal to see the CART races. For me, racing is done on dirt at distances up to 1/2 mile. I went to see the midgets run last night. One of the women drivers was running 2nd in the main until some hot dog launched off her rear wheel. Luckily he landed on his head, but she was out of the race. I want to go to the Midget Nationals at Belleville, Kansas on August 2-4, but I'm worried my car will be built then.
