I understand Steve Cole has completed the programming for the Z06. Has anyone installed it?

Would love to but where do I get one??
I just called Exit28 Motorsports and it's available. I'm waiting for a call back from Richard.
The last posts I read on this topic (the other forum) were all pretty disheartening -- promised deliveries that didn't come through (yet), perhaps an 8 HP gain, all at a whopped of a price...

I hope it's all not true!

I got my power loader just wednesday from Exit 28. I will put it in next week if all this damn rain quits and I can get a day off work. I too hope that it will help more than 8 or so HP. It sure was expensive not to do more???? The LS1s get something more that 20 HP so I'm told. The LS6 is more efficent that the LS1 but can't be that much more???
How about some more details about the product? What is for? How does it work? Where does it hook up to car? How much does it cost? Is is compatible with any other Vettes?

Is there a competing product for the Z06 made by HyperTech like the Power Programmer Plus?
dsinned -- I'm no expert on the thing, but I know Carl has one for his vert, and so I learned about it through him. It is a module that hooks to the cars computer (I don't know where/how), and it changes fuel curves, timing, etc. Also, it had a built in CAGS defeat.

Now, I think the thing cost @ $400 (someone jump in here if that's not right) -- and if that's true, then that's an awful lot of money for 8 HP and a CAGS defeat! No thanks!

Now, if this baby added 20 HP or so, then that'd be much more "worth it" to me. But I can't justify spending that on this, based on what I hear it does (doesn't do?) for the Z06.

I HOPE I'm wrong! I'd like a report from the guy in this thread who said he's installing one soon...

I heard 6-8rwhp max on stock car.
$400 might seem like a lot but an exhaust is alot more and probably picks up alot less.
Figure airbox - 5-10rwhp
Catback 3-5rwhp
headers 8-12rwhp

I hate to say it but those are real world numbers in my mind so way cost and 8rwhp isn't that bad for little hassle.

Your #s are in tune to what I have been getting.
I opted for a reprogramming on my computer $525.00 but it is not generic. The computer was programmed for every mod I have done.
They asked about everything from filter to headers, exhaust, where I wanted my idle and rev. limiter and fans set at. Customized to my car.
I was going to take it to the dyno today to see what 5 bills got me but it's to hot and humid, maybe 2morrow.
