Hello All,

Dont know if you remember but I'd been having some problems with a erratic vibration at idle, clutch noise whenever pulling away from a light and at shutdown, a steering "rub" when turning right, and MAF misfire codes at mid and high rpms. Well.....I found my problem to all of those issues tonight with one solution. My alternator is mounted using A&A alternator tensioner brackets and I had it pulled too far out and it was grounding on the frame of the car. The engine was essentially "hard mounted" causing all of the vibration, clutch and steering issues. It caused the MAF and misfire code because the alternator was grounding on the frame of the car.

Andy's bracket works as advertised, just be careful how far you pull it out.

Hope this may help someone else who may have some similar problems

Jim
