I got pulled over this morning for not displaying a front license plate.

Cop was pretty cool though. I had the plate behind my seat and showed it to him. He said it is supposed to be on the car not in the car, and he let me go without a ticket as long as I promised to put it on the car.

So Frank, do I have to actually get a ticket to be an outlaw like you, or does this count? I have NOT put the tag on the car. Do we get a badge, membership card, window sticker, metal, or something for being a member of your Outlaws? I'm so proud.

Where were you at and what jurisdiction (State, AA County...) pulled you over? So far I haven't gotten a second look... Oh okay maybe they thought you were me if it was on 50 outside of Annapolis. I try keep it under 100 going towards Bowie /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I was on the entrance ramp to 50 eastbound from Aris T. Allan Blvd. in Annapolis. I think he was a AA County Cop. Too nice to be a State Cop, and I didn't get a lecture like I usually do from an Annapolis City Cop.

Next time I'll say I'm you and that he was lucky to catch me before I got on 50 and took off to 120mph like I always do. You don't mind do ya Kev? What was that address agin?? /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

BTW, were you on East College Parkway by Cape St. Claire a couple/few weeks ago. Saw a T/R Z with a Save the Bay plate. Was that you?

OOOhhh you guys are bad to the bone. The guys up here get really pissed and throw tickets at us. I had just washed and waxed mine and was getting ready to take it to work, when a motorcycle officer turned around, caught up to me and pulled me over. I had the plate in the trunk and started to put it on while he was there - then he left saying he would trust me to finish it off. They just don't have a sense of humour up here !

I would urge all of you violaters to move to the UP of Michigan, since Michigan doesn't require the front plate (we are too cheap to waste money on such a foolish thing), but it is too crowded already and you would only get to drive your car half of the year.

What's with your state anyhow, do the prisoners there have a good lobby, or what.
