Ok, so it happened to me AGAIN.

However, its not too bad, and I think it was my fault.

I had the car up in the air this afternoon, and set her back down on my liftpads to torque the front wheels down. When I went to drive off the pads, I forgot to pull the jack out. The car rolled off 3 of the pads, but the left front corner was stubborn, and was being dragged by the car.

Well, I straightened that out, got the car on the ground, and pulled the key. Oh, I should mention that at no time was the column locked. Prayed for 15 secs or so, then put it back in.

The message went away.

Screw this, I know cash is tight now, but I'm ordering a columnlock bypass.

H iMike,
Basically, with the short time that you gave the BCM to reset, after removing the key, and then doing it again, the column lock had to reset to the correct position.
I really would NOT worry about it, because if you do the same thing again, it probably will happen again, c4c5
