I recently installed a new Racetronixs fuel pump & notice my pressure drops 5-7 lbs after normal driving. I'm guessing the pump becomes a little less effeciant after it gets hot. What's yours do?

We have found that some of the electronic pressure sensors used with electric fuel pressure gauges drop apx 8-10PSI in their readings when they become heat soaked sitting on top of a motor. We recommend relocating the sensor to a cooler safe location using Teflon braided line in order to minimize this problem.

It is best to check fuel pressure with a knowingly good mechanical gauge (i.e. Snap-On, Bluepoint etc.) before assuming there is a pressure problem.
