Is MS a darker shade of silver as compared to QS? Does anyone have a side by side picture showing the difference in the shade?

Yes, MS is a shade darker. There was a good picture floating around on this, or the other forum showing QS, MS and pewter all in the same pic.

i would say yes it is darker.

to be honest, at times i cant tell them apart on the road at times cause lighting conditions and when a car is less than spotless :jawdrop: they kinda all look the same.

Yep MS is a tad darker, but not by much.

I've got Machine Silver - it has a little bit of brown in it, so it's almost a really light pewter.
Quicksilver seems to have a little blue in it and is brighter.

Thanks everyone for the input. As always IT L Go had the answer. I personally like the MS better since it seems to match the wheels a little bit better. I also did not know that the MS is a 2004 only color thus making it harder to find.
