I can see that I am going to have a scratch problem. I am constantly putting things in the trunk. That 3 - 4" strip from the trunk to the back edge looks like a potential scratch zone. Has anyone seen a plastic protection strip for that area?

I carry a LARGE Soft Cotton towel for when I need to use the trunk (which isn't very often) But it seems to work. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Check with Ecklers, Mid America etc. I've seen a piece that folds out over the back advertised.

The aftermarket item will NOT work...at least properly. I bought one and found it is designed for the hatch back latch. The latch on the Z06 is in the way...had to cut a hole in mine. Forget it.

I must be loosing it, when I first looked at hte header this morning, I thought it said "red neck" scratch prevention, oh well. I guess it is this head cold.

I have seen mention of plastic you can put on the rocker panels. I was wondering if there was something for the rear deck. I suppose I could take the rocker panel plasrtic and cut it to size
