Is it critical to use a torque wrench to tork the top cover bolts?
Also did everyone use that super sized condom with the copper colored squeeze ring? Is that to cut down on noise?
Thanks gang:)

The rubber boot is to cut down on the noise and
vibration. I used it and still have some of both.
I did not use a Torque wrench and have not had any
problems. Be patient and plan on 1-2 hours for
installation.

Good luck,

Thanks

By the way, I got it from LAPD (Ripper + hardbar) and they sent it OVERNIGHT FedEx for ONLY 9 bucks! That is unreal! What GREAT service from a supporting vendor!

fyrcaptain,

Puhleez post some pics of the hardbar when you get the chance. :) It's what I want to get when my Z shows up and I'd love to see how it looks.

My only concern before I order is: won't your hand somehow slip off? A normal shift knob has a "knob" to hold on to. I agree it looks damn cool but how do you like it in actual use?

Thanks.

I'm sure there are a lot of you that feel you have a calibrated wrist but unless you use a torque wrench on a regular basis...your calibrated wrist is Wayyyyyyyy out of cal.

Never, ever blow off the torque, and you'll never, ever make an expensive mistake.
