Don't have the links, but you can find them at the Forum "tech tips" section. There are two different links with pictures and nice write ups to go along with them. I'll be tearing into the car myself in about a week.

Where did you buy your shift knob? I love that Momo look. Does the red match up well with the colors? Definitely going to do this. Thing that gets me are the high prices. I have found the shift knob elsewhere for a lot lower than LAPD site.

I purchased mine from RG at Xtreme. The red matches great! If I remember correctly there are two different reds available so be careful. Your right about the price being high for a shift knob but the quality and look defintely fit the Z06 very nicely

Waiting on the Hurst shifter to come out, but these instructions will definitely help, bookmarked both! The Momo shift knob is gorgeous, got to get me one with a red insert!

Don't sweat the installation. Take your time, follow the directions and it will be pretty easy. I think I can install a ripp in about 20 minutes now. That's how easy it really is.

Thanks Zee06, yes, I saw the other red, a metallic. The Combat is the one I am going to order. Calling the guy Monday, $56.16!

We finished my Ripper install this weekend. The only hang up is the wedge holding on the stock knob. We used a pair of needle nose channel locks, with good teeth, clamped as hard s you can with a gentle side to side rocking motion while applying steady upward pressure worked best. After the pin everything else is easy as pie. Love the feel can't wait to try it out.
