We've cut a deal with Nelson to exclusively offer his wisdom and content on roadracing here on Z06vette.com.

The quality of his video is exceptional and we look forward to opening this section of the site to bring you the best in Z06 information and content!

Here is a sample of his work. We've done some work to the video to bring out the colors and levels and it's quite a bit rougher than his original, but hey, bandwith costs, and we're on a budget /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Thanks Nelson!

I have been working on the page for about 4-5 hours now... it I must say that it is getting larger than I 1st figured...

As it looks now I have it broken into a few main areas...

FAQ about roadracing, answering most of the questions that I have found on the forums.

Basic area - talking about what to expect when you goto the track, how other's will act, and what the weekend will be like.

Advanced area - talking about how to handel the car at speed, late apexing, slow in - fast out for corners, Tire pressure, How to stop or make your car push, how to feel your car for high tire temp etc...

All of the above is going to be backed up with Video... how the ZO6 looks and feels when it is pushing bad / fast in - slow out for corners / slow in - fast out as well, how to use the power of the ZO6 to pull you out of a corner when the car is about to slide right off the track etc. I have some excellent footage of all above situations, and as I get to more tracks, the footage will keep comming... I think that the video is the best way to make a point clear when it comes to this. Which is why this is video based.

I have 20-30 hours of tape of me in my Camaro.. Which I will not be using, This is specific to ZO6 drivers that want to learn either how to improve the track time, or get started... I hope to have something for everyone. As I goto more tracks (I'm already signed up for the Viper Shootout at www.gingerman.com as well as a BMW group going back to www.roadamerica.com, which is what my 1st tape is from.

If you have any suggestions, or anything that you would like to know / see please let me know. I would be more than happy to see if I have anything to help out.
