My Ron Davis radiator has developed some seepage where the stamped steel "nut" appears to hold the fitting for the integral oil cooler to the tank. I spoke with tech support at both Doug Rippie and Ron Davis. They both suggested giving this nut a 1/16th or so turn to tighten. See attached photos for reference. Anybody else had this problem or have further suggestion? Steve.

There's an O-ring/seal on the back of the fitting inside the radiator. It might be split or pinched. You can try to tighten the nut but usually that doesn't fix the leak. You're probably going to have to take it to a reputable radiator shop.

Or remove the nut check the radiator surface for any nicks cracks.
If any minor nicks are found polish with scotch bright replace the O-Ring and you should be ok.
If you find a crack then "game over man", send radiator to mfg for repair.

Unfortunately the sealing surface and o-ring is inside the radiator, not behind the nut on the exterior.
