So my car has just over 20K miles and I've had it since Nov.

When I stop under very light braking like to brake in a parking lot for a speed bump they sqeal so I am wondering if that is the squeal indicators and I need pads.

Car is not tracked except it's been to the drags once and there is alot of shutdown room. It will probably never see a track or auto x but I want it to stop on a dime.

If that is the case should I buy pads and turn my rotors or buy pads and rotors ?

Which Pads for the stock rotors if I just turn them ?
Which rotor and pad combo if I decide to replace the rotors ?

Thanks,
Pat

IMO don't turn your rotors, buy new from NAPA etc. 100.00 for all 4

Are your sqeal tabs touching the rotor? You should be able to tell by looking if the pads are that worn.

Most new vette brakes squeal with very few miles. :bmad:

I would get ceramic brakes and some kool rotors -- slotted and drilled! ;)

I'm not sure I am getting a good look at it with the wheel on.

I'm gonna have to take the wheel off and check to be sure.
