I have about 17,000 miles on my Z with the original tires. I've noticed that recently, my car's back end seems to jump alot in the warm weather when taking turns. I've checked my tire inflation several times and they're spot on. I just don't understand the crapy ride! The cracks in the road seem to make the back end "jump" almost like I could loose it on a bend on the highway!
I was wondering if maybe I need new tires? They appear to have plenty of meat left but, as they wear down, could the tires become "harder"?

Air Pressure? (OK)

I have heard many people complain about F1's when they start to age. The rubber on high performance tires tend to harden with age. Most tire experts will tell you change them every 3 years no matter how much thread is on them. With 17,000 miles on your I would expect they are losing there edge.
