It was a karting accident. The best any of us can piece together is that the throttle stuck and he drove down an escape road at the end of a long straightaway, hit a wooden barrier and knocked himself unconscious, then went full throttle for 1/2 block and wedged under a Suburban at over 65 mph. And this was at a well organized racing event - just goes to show you never know when and how it's going to happen, but when it's your time it's your time.
I will be attending the funeral tomorrow... /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif
I am so saddened by the loss of your friend. I can tell by reading the bio that the entire world lost a friend, a very good person, a real man. I never had the pleasure of knowing him, but can tell he was genuine.
I'm sorry buddy! Be strong, be tough, and God Bless!
