25-60 psi is normal and expected when hot with 41-45 psi being the average nominal value.
Flow is important in these engines almost as much as pressure. So make sure the levels are kept up and 1 qt overfill is added for track use.
But it still gives me the hibbiejebbies, especially on a hot day at the track.
If racing, some use15W50 or 20W50 in hot weather.
The oil pump inlet/outlet can also be ported and polished and the oil relief spring shimmed to raise the flow and pressure.
Recently there has been a larger gearrotor pump developed that puts out higher flows and pressure. It requires a modified or split timing cover.
