and...well...to quote my wife...it looked like a Corvette.

Also saw the hood scoop. On the prototype it has maybe 80% of its area covered by the plastic grill. Wide strips and several openings blocked. It is also a regular, non-NACA duct in the surface. And appears to be in what would normally be a low pressure area as the air crests the front on to the hood. However, on the Corvette, that is so gradual as to probably not be an issue.

The cutaway was very impressive. And on LS1tech they are saying modified LS7s will flow over 400cfm at .800 lift. Wow! That sounds like a real big block cam type of flow. I wonder if it will fit 1.65" springs.
