Setting up a car for Auto-crossing. Looking for information on ideal alignment and shocks. Are the stock shocks the best choice?

Jose,

I'm sure Ron Marks, aka RippiedZ06, can give you all the information you need when he checks in. He probably has more autocross experience than 99% of all of us combined. /ubb/smilies/cool.gif

Jose, a good street--autox set up would be to run the stock toe and caster settings, maybe -1.25 camber front and -1.0 camber rear. The stock shocks are good, but check with www.dougrippie.com for your options.

I agree with Ron, but I had to go to -1.75 on the fronts...of course it really depends on tires. I also like a little toe out (1/8 to 1/4 and don't run that way on the street...eats tires). Again, stock caster is plenty good. I think I get -4.0 camber at full lock with stock caster settings. That's good for the hardest braking, tightest turning conditions.
