What's the best aftermarket shifter available?

I don't know the best, but I love my Ripper!! Wifie hates it, says its too hard to shift. I hear Kirban is great and I know that Jake's Corvette Concepts modified stock shifter is cool too!!

IMHO... The Kirban + a Hardbar shiftknob (the type C5Rs use) IS SUPER!!!

Hey Harley -- just got my delrin shifter from Hardbar in the mail yesterday! Man, this thing feels PERFECT!

Now, I didn't enjoy the Kirban at first -- but I understand from another guy with a Hardbar knob that the knob actually makes shifting (his Ripper) easier. Do you find this to be true for you?

I have Jake Delaney's modified stock shifter and love it for everyday driving!

I haven't tried the others, but the ripper feels great to me. I can't say it's the best but it is damn good. Haven't missed a shift or had it pop out of gear in the 10,000 miles I've used it.

It was a bit stiff at first but it's loosened up quite a bit since then.
