Those that have the shortys, what is the problem with the dipstick tube when re-installing it back on after the header install?
What can be done before hand to ease / alleviate the problem?
Getting ready to do that side, and if I can do something to the headers or tube before installation I would like to.
Thanks

Never done it, so take this with a grain of salt....just me thinking out loud.

Maybe "assemble" the dipstick/header as you are maneuvering it into the engine bay, kinda get the dipstick seated in it's hole then slide the header down to the head. Make any sense? I'm not even sure that's possible, may have too much maneuvering to do...but figured it was worth a shot ;) good luck!

Thanks TAMU.
I know that you have to do some bending twisting to get it to work after you install the headers and then put the dipstick/oiltube back in place. Most that have done it have said it was a pain. I will try it that way on a dry run.
