I know that in the past there has been a lot of talk on wheel hop and ways to manage. What I would like to know if anyone has come up with a mod that eliminates the problem. I guess first you need to identify what is the problem. The best theory I have heard is the movement in the bushings in the suspension A-arms. But, then again, I am not a suspension engineer. Has anyone tried urethane bushings. Any thoughts?

I loved letting the clutch out at 6k on my 96 LT4 with no problem other then smoke.

Thanks for the replies. It seems that for the present time, shocks may be the best mod., I would be surprised that this would solve the entire problem but I can see that it would help by better distrubution of weight causing better traction. In every non Z06 car in the past that I have seen with a hop problem, the solution was to stop the axle from twisting back and forth. The axle links will stress to a certain degree then the flex back into place causing the hop. Just my thoughts.
