JMHO...I'd repaint my car before I put splash gaurds on it. To me, it looks worse than the front license plate...well, maybe not that bad.

Mud flaps on a Z06 hasn't appealed to me either and I live in the outback of Pa and the roads are not good yet. I've been driving everytime they look dry at the end of my driveway. More often than not thats been a fooler. Have studied what it is going to take to correct the stone marks. Should be to not to bad as the body panel separations sort of minimize the painting.

I have the Body Contour splash shields from Mid America. Several others in our club also have them--the Z06 will has been and will be a heavily autocrossed car. A friend tried the clear plastic body panel covers, but with heavy usage--autocrossing or time trials--it wears off and paint chips or sand blasting occurs.

If I didn't autocross, I would opt for the clear plastic body covers, you hardly notice them and they will protect in normal driving.

Can anyone tell me if they are using any type of splashguard protection, and if so which type? I would like to try and keep my blk Z from chipping as long as possible, but do not want to drill or hurt the fiberglass. What say you guys?
