This looks like the e-blue, but of course color reproduction of pictures can be misleading. Hard to tell if this is an '02 Z from the picture. I'm hearing it will have HUD, and a new style wheel design, but this could be an '02 with '01 wheels.

That spy pic is an 02. The image is kinda crappy and artifacted but, the car is an Electron Blue 02.

I thought I read the fender badges were changing for 2002, incorporating the higher horsepower figures. The badges in this photo look the same as 2001. Hib, do you know if the badges or anything else cosmetic is changing ?

I asked my friend who owns a body shop about the new '02 Corvette "Electron Blue".....He called PPG who gave him the recipe. He then mixed up a sample to show to my wife and I!

In our opinion what he showed us is the SAME colour as this photo. It is a dark medium blue, very metalic and very bright in sunlight ... lighter and less purple than "Admiral Blue".

It looks GREAT!

I usually avoid these discussions because I consider myself a junior corvette owner. However I thought the wheels were going to change for 02, in addition to the badging. Like everyone always says just my .02 cents worth.

After staring at this photo for some time, I believe that Hib and others who claim this is an electron blue '02 are correct in their assertion. If you look carefully at the reflection on the passenger front fender area, that color DOES resemble the color panels from the BB. It's a 2002 EB Z06. No question about it.

Also, if you look close enough you can tell that the driver side has the HUD cutout on the dash.

I just blew up the dash section of the pic.. you can see a square section where the HUD is.. kinda blury though..
