Are you talking about the one at the top of the handle?? Or the one at the front of the shifter, under the trim plate?????
If it is the handle, our fellow member is correct.
However, if it is the one at the front of the shifter assembly, this is used to perform a shifter adjustment, and should remain there at all times. Dealers should use this pin ANY time that there is a shifting concern or issue.
