I recently discovered some stone chips on my hood and am REALLY PISSED!!!! I saw a couple of postings on the Ultimate Touch Up System and am wondering if it is any good. Will it leave a smooth surface or will it leave a blob of clear coat on the surface??? I also saw something on Langka paint repair and wondered if anyone has any thoughts on it. I would really appreciate it if someone can help me out. Thanks!!!

I have the Stonegard clear bra on my car and wouldn't you know it, a big ass rock (well it sounded big) hits my headlight (you can see the gouge in the clear bra, but no paint chip, whew), then I washed the car and noticed that the damn thing must have bounced and then hit the hood about 10" from the windshield - crap... nice little chip about 1/4" long and 1/16" wide. :flaming:

Anyone try that Ultime Auto touch up system or the Langka product?
Come on guys.. we need your input and experience with these products..

Has anyone tried that Corvette Armor?

It's expensive, but is it as transparent and good as they say?

I've seen similar products that tend to yellow.

Same problem here....I will be experimenting soon. Probably with Langka. I have seen some very favorable reviews on other web sites with the Langka product. Search www.google.com with "Langka paint" and you should find some information.

Here are a sample of reviews -

Langka:

sdz06,

I had a complete Corvette Armor kit installed a few weeks ago. It looks great. If you don't know, you won't see it. Too early to tell how it works, but so far, so good. No front dings after about 2k miles and I live in a new housing project with a constant flow of gravel trucks. The s--t is everywhere. Sounds like an M-60 if I drive too fast.

Good luck and Merry Xmas.

:)
