I did an autox this weekend (100 degrees both days). I used masking tape to hold the numbers on my doors and it left a glue residue that doesn't want to come off. Any suggestions?

WD-40 or something similar will release the adhesive.

"Goo Gone" works well too.

I had to laugh when I read this one. Last year I went to Lime Rock and got magnetic numbers for my Camaro SS. The rear quarters are metal. I thought they might fall off so i tried to duct tape on the edges. The duct tape wouldn't stick to the Zaino. The magnetic held. I am going to have to get something for the vette.

Can you race your Z06 at Limerock? I used to go to the Camel GT races at Limerock in the mid-early 70's as a kid, and I consider that to be one of the best laid on tracks in the world. Can regular people race there?

Yes, you can run any car at Lime Rock as part of NASA's HPDE program. There are different levels. In the beginners stage, you can't pass. It is a great track, I agree. Too bad they never did the extension they had planned. Nothing like that climbing turn!!
I cannot wait to take the Z06 there after a fair amount of experience and a great instructor in my SS.
