Got an underdrive pulley from Corvette Clinic today. They said it was from ASP, and I have no reason to doubt them. But, no manufacturer name is on it. Any way for me to check?

Also...I see some kits come with a new bolt. Is that required? Mine didn't. Stock bolt work?

Never seen an ASP actually marked that it's from ASP...

And yes, buy a new bolt, do not use the old one.

The bolt threads "stretch", and are only designed to be used once.

You will reuse the stock bolt for the first pass to torque the pulley on, and then put the new bolt in for the final degreeing...

Replace the crank pulley on the crank and tighten the bolt down. Again the helms has you use a special balancer seating tool, but by using the OLD bolt, you can accomplish the same thing. Tighten the OLD bolt to 240 lb-ft, or until the pulley seats flush with the crank. (mine never seated flush)

Remove the old bolt and install new bolt. Tighten it to 37 lb-ft. Then turn it another 140º (clockwise).
