Sorry to beat this dead horse once more BUT... I'm very close to pulling them off! Now I know if I DIDN'T have them, I'd might be wanting to put them ON... I've read those posts too... but I would like some of you to try and talk me OUTof doing this. I will preserve them (suggestions?) so the window sticker matches the options on (or around) the Z. I don't want to take them off, and a few months later try to put 'em back on... poorly, mis-aligned and with poor adhesive. As they are now, they are perfect as the General is capable of doing it. Yeah, I've done it, and so have a lot of others. Go for it. Monofilament fishing line, gloves, a hair dryer and some Goo Gone. Nothing to it. I took mine off with no damage to either my paint or the BSMs.HarleyB said:I would like to remove them without damaging the factory paint. ANYBODY done this?
