In all fairness to Darth, it was the fastest recorded run of a Miata motored Miata, ie no V8 or rotary conversion.

I am sure the Miata was on drag radials. When Darth tried that he pulled an 11.5 ... withouth 3d gear (bye bye clutch)

That is one quick Mazda.../phpBB/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif but the Black Vette looks a whole lot better. I had a Sunbeam Tiger...all motor...very fast...But the Z is still number one in my book, and it is a better driver.

That video has been out for a few months, what it doesn't tell you is that he was on full race slicks pulling a 1.6 60' to my 2.12 60' on street tires.No traction. If you listen to the video you can hear my motor revving high as the tires were spinning 'til 3rd. My trap speed on that run was actually 122.81 MPH, I pulled a 123.76 MPH that same night, on a different pass.
I wonder what the results would be now that I have my own slicks turning 1.61 60'. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif
Can you say 11.20 @ 124MPH.
It's coming, trust me.

Hi No Mercy, I still think your z is one of the best looking

Darth Vetter, sharp car too, hope the slicks drop ya to low 11's as I am sure they will.

AS far as ricks car, I think there's a bit of confusion, he has stock internals. He does indeed have a large turbo and intercooler though. I am also almost 100% certain he runs radials, not slicks.

He has hella quick 60ft times.
