ok, headers on the way, almost ready for tune, I want the most out of my tune, Is the 160 degree the way to go?

also does a brand matter?

Im getting from a vendor here but Im curious about the SLP thermostat, I saw on Jegs.com the 160 for $25 but seems diffrent, heres the pic

their descriptions are similar but the pics and prices are way diffrent :-?

ok, I figured this last part my self the part number from SLP is 100223 for the corvette and Jegs is 847-100228, then I saw the part number 100228 from SLP and it is to the GTO, I also looked at both pics and are the same and SLPs price is $19 for the GTOs, so I figured out everything from JEGS is all more expensive, they just have an error saying the same thermostat fits all LS powered cars but its incorrect, So never mind this part :blush:

Just talked to all the major tuners in the Jersey area, 100% said 160*, it will still be ok for winter, who knows, one of them is tuning my car so I'll go with their ideas ;)
